Default Carb Boring

I wanted to know if anyone on here has had their carbs bored out, if i decide to do this it would be for stock banshee carbs, i've heard you can get 27.5mm out of them? Any positive/negative input would be great. Also does any one do this, or know who does this...Flotek would be great if they do this considering I could probly drive there...

the only dyno runs ive ever seen with this mod have shown a 2 horse loss on peak out put ,i t is only my opinion but wouldnt bother .its proven yo u can get 60 + rear wheel horsepower out of untouched bone stock carbs o n a ported 350banshee ,sometimes a better carb is more important than a bigger carb ,have you looked int ot getting the 30 mm Dslides off ebay ...or 28keihin pwks ? they sell cheap and offer better signal and response over stockers

im sure on some applications it could help increase topend but dollar for dollar i think theres better ways ot spend money and carbs are usualy last o n the list ...atleast initialy maybe a milled head for some more torque or get a ricky stator adjustable timing plate set on +4 for 35$

I had a 39 pwk bored to a 40.5 but have not tested it on the banshee yet but it made a difference on the R plus its a cheap mod.

yea thats on a PWK, which is a way better set up than a stock banshee carb. I personaly think that the stock size PWK carbs would still make a slightly noticable difference over the OEM carbs on a shee.
