 Lightened Flywheel on lt250??? I am considering sending my flywheel from my 85 lt250r to denny to get lightened. All of my riding is either desert or dune, I know I would like it for the dunes not so sure about the desert. The way I see it is that its less drag on the engine so it can rev out faster but at the same time I have heard things about losing bottom end. Any input would be appreciated!!!

| When the flywheel gets lightened, the engine loses rotational mass. Therefore reving faster, but also at the same time it is easier to stall because the is not as much mass rotating in the engine.

| hmm ok so good for dune probably not so good for trails I think I'm going to pass on it for now and maybe just see if I can find another flywheel on ebay and swap them whenever I want. Thanks man!!!

| Its really about finding the ballence of how much you want to take off. For dune riding im taking off between 6 & 7 ounces. This will enable me to get to the upper RPMs faster.

| Go for it Gogo I can wait I have other shit to spend $$$ on right now besides a spare flywheel lol. I see what you are saying man yea for dunes I want to like you said get into the upper rpms fast, but just for messing around out here at the other spots I don't think it would be the better choice for me. Thanks for the advise man.
