| well i was talking about HOLESHOTS which is a drag, i know for a fact that the LTRs arent the highest hp quads, there just handle very well and are balanced like perfectly, the built hondas are hitting 70hp on stock bore, team yosh quads make around 66, but they still pull the holeshots more than anyone and yes those numbers are true, you have to keep in mind that these motors last 1 race, just watch a pro mx race sometime, joe byrds dasa honda is making more power than anyone but almost everyother race he is blowing up, but when it lasts, he HAULS |

| alright well the factory dynos are really hard to find but here is a ATP pro am motor, similar to the one that i am getting this winter, and remember this is pro am, the pros obviously spend that bit more money and bump it up a few more hp and this is a stock bore stock stroke quad with a 14:1 comp ratio running on c12 in 50% humidity in 85° weather on a rear wheel dynojet dyno Last edited by fastR of puppets; 06-28-2008 at 11:43 AM. |

| well that shut everyone up |

| idk man, the proof is right there in front of my eyes but I still dont nessicarily believe it, not because I'm against 4 strokes (I own them too) its just that over on PS and other drag sites the guys with full drag 450's are only getting high 60's and maybe dipping into the 70's on a choice few.

| well it did nt shut anyone up i imagine we are tired of explaing to you for the umphteen time about your internet goggle skills of finding these off the wall dyno runs of these exotic pro built one off engines ,can a 450 make big power sure if you think 65 horse is huge and how much and how long will it hold together and will it be competive against a fully built 2 stroke counterpart .whe n i see the new 450s (including your sacred lTR bannana boat ) on gas routinely get under 5 seconds in 300feet or under 7 seconds in 500feet dirt drag then i wil be worried so i guess the y will require another ten years and millions more in research and devleopment

| ya its based on air fuel ratio, that is from atp one of the most reputable builders out there, they domintate pro am classes and build jeremy lawsons motors, they will last a seaon if you really try but its expected taht you do a top rebuild ever 25-30 hours, but tahts really not that bad, and with the drag 450s the pro motors that are making 70hp have over 10k in them and are running insanly high compression ratios and run oxygenated gas and also if i were to race a 2 stroke it would be limited to 265ccs, now id like to see you find me a dyno of a 265 making equal power Last edited by fastR of puppets; 06-28-2008 at 03:36 PM. |

| the way i see it the burden lies on you to prove a 265cc four poke making that power not me having ot show proof ,the crpa yo upost isnt even proof i dont see atp building any noteable drag engines that have competed in an y major events ive heard of mx and gncc is al l rider... that company and your bullshit dyno doesnt tel l a thing ,cc for cc the four choke isnt going to cut it atleast not reliably.those pro am clases and builders mean nothing thats rider ability not the engine
