Question

the lower part is a suzuki for sure due to the broken clutch guide problem common on the suzukis . the water pump location seems wierd to me as does
the jug, its very odd.. it is a old style square ish 80's dirtbike jug from the suzuki line must have been during the early exhaustvalve days i n the later 80's id guess a 87-88 rm250 ,hopefully someone familiar with knowledge of older suzuki dirtbikes can chime in and know more, one thing is for sure: thats a rough lookin coat hanger abortion of a quad you got yourself, id sell that thing quick like in my front yard ,who knows what head aches and expense lie in its future?

did someone do something to the frame? the first picture at the very top has a piece of metal that looks like a strip cut from a big sheet of 1/2 think steel. does it even run? and the clutch has been hacked at a bit. depending on how much you payed i wud try to get rid of it.

Just my opinion not a 87 88 rm250 did some looking and they had a round head that one is square if i ever saw square, but i think your on the right track id agree on the year and probably off anything but a quad if you can give me some pics of the other side and mabye the vin off the motor i can probably find out what it is. I also agree with the other guys looks like you bought a headache the rear motor mount isnt factory and everything else is pretty rough looking however if it runs right know id just rod the piss out of it probably wouldnt bring much in its current condition. Hope you enjoy it and if you get some of that info i can probably tell you what motor it is so you can get parts. Enjoy.

the reaso n i threw out the square head rm idea was the old mid 80's 125 rm's had square heads, but its a 250 so i figured 87-88,its definitly a 250cc older suzuki 2 stroke dirtbike motor of some kind /year IMHO

I think he got more than just a T4 engine look at the thread Help! and look at the frame it doesn't look like a TRX frame to me. Looks like he might have bought a T4. Not sure though
