Default Yamaharley

I gotta say I been looking at cruisers lately, and Yamaha's V-Star Classic is a sharp looking machine. I don't care too much for Honda-Davidson's (face it, that's where they got their technology) so I'm looking at the Jap bikes. I have confidence the Yamaha would be at the shop a lot less than the Harley. The Honda Shadow Sabre would be my other choice, have to wait til' spring to get one, though. Damn..........

i had the v-star 1100 it was a good all around bike and had no troubles except it was a pain in the ass to get to certain stuff like to change the oil filter etc. the best way to tell is to actually ride them its personal preference.

my brother just picked up some odd harley bike, got one hell of a deal on it, the thing is in like mint condition with all kinds of extra stuff, he got it for like half the blue book value on it cuz it was his buddys bike, he loves the ride of it and says its got good power, but haha its got the usual oil leak.....untill the motor heats up at least.

love my v-rod (vrsca) great power. The only thing I dont like is the forward controlls, there nice for crusing but when you want to get on it there not the best. Id like to ride the street rod it has mid controlls.

R1's a nice bike. But a 1800cc cruiser seems like a waste for riding around at 65 mph. I'm looking for comfort over speed on this one. Was your Honda Shadow piped and jetted or stock?

hey man the Kawasaki's are nice bikes to. I have a 89 csr 650 just to cruise on.It rides great and smooth. The thing i love the best about it is it has the straight 4 versus the v-twin. A lot easier to work on and do maintenance.

my old yamaha was a tank. Nothing could kill it. It was the most dependable street bike. It was an old XJ 550
