A bike is a bike, the engine is different, and the riding is a little different, the bike is not easier to ride when it comes to motocross. 4 Strokes have the low RPM power advantage over the 2-stroke, pretty much everything in motocross is low RPM power that is needed, lots of turns, very slow speeds then giving it gas.

I would say I am a pretty stellar rider, and I have better lap times with a crf250 vs a cr250

in a drag the 250will prevail, all u need to know is how to shift, il smoke him hands down on my 250, dont matter on the drag, the 2 stroke will always kill, on the track though...

ahhh if ur a good enough rider the 250 2 stroke will KILL a 250 4 poke

this is an easy one, the rm is going to walk all over the crf, but the track yea a 4 stroke has the low end but a decent rider will get a better lap time on the rm, i dont know if anybody gets transworld but last month they did an article about 2 stroke vs 4, they compared the rm250f rm450f, and the rm 250.

ill tell you what......i have ridden a CRF450, AND A kx80......AND GUESS WHAT? i have no love for the CRF. i had way more fun on the tiny pinger. i would love to hop on a 250......

my buddy and i have the same type of situation. I have my yz80 and he has a crf150f and he thought it was faster in a drag race. He got the hole shot then i went flying by him. So i would have to say the RM in a drag
