Default Some good dirtbike help please!

Alright, so I've moved on and I'm planning on buying a suzuki GS 500 hopefully but I'm fixing up my old dirt bike to sell first.
So first of all it's not running right now and I think I know what's wrong but I'm not sure so I'm in need of a second third or even fourth oppinion hah.
The bike wont kick start (has no electric) at all.... when I bump start it the engine will idle or the bike does something that sounds like idling as long as the wheels are moving at a decent pace down a hill.... but as soon as I hit the throttle a little i'ts like hitting the killswitch and it just kills the motor completely. When I hit the throttle while coasting down a hill idling, it actually makes it sound as though the throttle is bogging the motor down instead of making it go whiich then just kills it completely.
Originally I thought dirty carburator so I cleaned it all up and it wasn't that... So now I'm think maybe the piston is blown in it?
Any ideas guys? I'm pretty much out of them and don't want to go out and buy new parts if I'm not completely sure what it is.
Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds as if your getting zero spark. Change your plug, and try starting it again. If nothing still, check for any loose onnections in your wiring, next would be that you could have gotten water in your ignition, or the ignition or coil is trashed. Where is the bike kept? If ithe bike is kept outside there is a good chance that water is the culprit. If the bike is kept inside, it could just be something simple. I would start checking the simple things first, those are more common.

The spark plug is fine, infact it gave me a decent shock today when I was scrwing around with it. I'm not sure about the other stuff. But it is kept in my garage so it's stored indoors. Any other ideas?

If the plug gave you a shock then electricity is traveling to the plug, did you check spark outside maybe to bright to see the spark? But if you say you checked it you can here the plug spark, unless it is shorting out somewhere. All you need to run is AIR, FIRE, AND GAS.

Man, theres a spark in the plug... I know the spark plug is working fine, it's already been replaced. The carburator is clean... it's been cleaned and put back together.
The only thing I think it could be is the piston is blown.
Also, how can I tell if my ignition wiring is "trashed"??

does it have compression, if not you need a piston.

When you try to kick it over is it fairly easy to kick?

It doesn't kick over at all, the kick start doesn't work whatsoever... it'll idle if I bump start it and keep it rolling but as soon as I hit the throttle it bogs down and dies as if hitting the killswitch. And I haven't checked compression, I don't have anything to check it with unfortunetly.
