Electric Dirt Bike?!?!?! WTF?!?!?!

lol you guys need to un-wad your panites for a minute. I think its actually pretty neat from that video there. but to me it looks more like a high-end bicycle than a dirt bike if you go by the size of it, but still it looks like it would be pretty fun to ride and play around on. lmao can you imagine a indoor supercross race with those things.

and with the way its looking with gas and oil prices going higher and higher every day, that electric dirt bike might be the future of out sport.

i think i want one lol, looks kinda fun & id ride that some bitch alover town. lol.....maybe run over a soda can or put a base ball card on the rear wheel to make it sound like a dirtbike...

Dont get me wrong, I love 2 strokes and gas engines (obviously I am on here).
I think it has some potential, as long as we keep improving on batteries.
Think about the possible weight savings. Yes batteries and electric motors are heavy but, no exhaust, no gas tank.

Wouldnt be much of a hobby to build one though

lol yea if I had one I would need to rig up something to make some engine sound with it. i'd say if they put enough time and development into that type of bike/motorcycle that it would turn out pretty sweet. main thing that I would be concerned with is how much ride time could you get out of it before haveing to charge the battery?

Thats when you buy extra batteries and charge them, so when you go ridin and your battery runs out you can just toss a new one in.
Or you could find a way to rig up an altenator to the chain to you can charge your battery or an extra one while you ride.

Lmfao i remember doing that with y bike when i was like 6 it sounded pretty cool then we all got our dads to put a piece of plastic in the wheel so we could switch it on and off.. man we were cool

now that would be the right idea there. wonder if you could make it where it charges your main battery that powers the motor as you ride? then you could almost ride non stop lol.
