So this thread is old but ... i was just readin over this ... And it brought a thought ... I think im going to have to buy a 4 stroke to compete with the 4 strokes my 250r cant beat a tricked out yamaha 450 or a honda 450 ... ill always keep my 2 strokes but if i want to be cometative in the mx track im gonna have to change over some day.

450's run there own class... but 250 2 stroke beat up on em....

i bet they do. i went to a supercross event a cupple of months ago and there was only one 2 stroke, a yz250, all the others were crf's and yz450f's. guess who won........ thats right the yz250. he was 3rd out of the gate but made his way up to first in 3 or 4 laps. just goes to show who rules arena races.

i saw supercross race on ESPN a few months back and it was all 2 stroke but one... ricky carmichael was riding a RM250... reed was riding a YZ250 and larocco was ona cr250 i bleieve...
