| Here is some emails back and forth from a guy trying to sell a Gas Gas Wild 300. I reported this to eBay and go not response I have talked to one guy that did bid on it and has not gotten anything. He is working on getting his money back as we talk. This guy even has the balls to keep re-listing this crap. Below is the link to eBay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6726 Even better here is the assholes email address. kevingoetz2003@yahoo.com In no way am I implying that you should email him or sign him up for every bit of spam there is out there. That would be your decision to make, I am listing it only for you to be able to communicate your feelings with this gentleman about what he is doing is wrong. Here is the emails that I talked with him man, i sell 3 ATV like this and i lose one , now i don't want to risk to lose another , so if you don't want to use method choiced from me leave me alone. bye, and good luck. Jason Dobbins wrote: I don’t know it seems a little to good to be true, to get a gas gas for under $4,000. You’ve ignored my questions about how you’re getting it so cheap and about getting a title. Not sure it’s worth the risk. If I send you $650 what is my assurance that it will be shipped. Also you don’t seem to understand what an escrow is to be able to complete a transaction like this.

| I feel for the guy who got scammed on e-bay. At the begginning of this year i found a banshee engine for $900. I checked his feedback rating to make sure that he wasn't a con artist and after seeing a 98% positive feedback rating, I signed up and won the auction. He too was sketchey about his answers. When i asked about the engine he at first said my questions had no relevance( was it a race bike, what type of ridding did the owner do), but after a couple more e-mails did answer about half my questions. I then explained that $900 was a lot of money to me and suggested an escrow service so we both got what we wanted. As soon as i mentioned the idea of the escrow service he e-mailed me back ready to call off the whole thing. This is where i messed up, instead of playing it safe and insisting to use the service, i got worried that i wouldn't get the engine and went ahead and paid him with a bank check. After he recieved his check almost all communication stopped. He made excuse after excuse as to why i wasn't recieving the engine. First he only ships every other week (which took a month), then he said my house wasn't deliverable(it is), so i gave him another address and he said no one was there when UPS tried to deliver it( i personally know all the drivers in my area and they all said they never even tried to deliver anything like that). I had been asking for the shipping number for over a month by now and finally told him he needed to give me some proof that i'm getting what i paid for or i was going to turn him into ebay and the ifcc. He responded by insisting that he shipped the engine then told me not to contact him again by phone or e-mail. I knew by this time that i got screwed so i filled out every form on the e-bay site, only for them to say a month later that they have no record of my claim( they lost all my time sensitive reports). So to sum it up, my advice is stay as far away from ebay as possible, however, if you do shop on ebay-be aware. If the seller refuses to use an escrow service, he is most likely a crook, and if you do get screwed , make copies of all claims you file with ebay-they conviently lose claims when they might have some out of pocket expenses. Oh yeah, if someone wants to tell me a good source for banshee engines or engine parts, i'm still in need. |

| This guy has moved on and is no longer registered under that name and account. Keep an eye out for similar scams http://feedback.ebay.com/ws1/eBayISA...=STRK:MEWA:SID

| Hey, that was definitly a scam. I had similar experiance not to long ago. I was looking at a 2003 Banshee that had everything. FMF Exhaust, skin graphics, durablue axle, extended a arms,k&n air filter, new plastics, holeshot front and rear, DG front bumper, DG rear grab bar, DG nerf bars, and moosr handlbars. I was fine with the deal until I emailed the guy and asked for a buy it now price. He said the buy it now was $2600. I said oh sorry I dont have that yet cause just by that price i Knew it was a scam. He emailed me back the next day and said Okay fine if you can do $1400 its yours. I said sorry i dont have it and again he emailed me back and said fine the lowest ill go is $1000US. I said fine if you can prove me with something that this isnt a scam. He said he was a dealer out of Maine and for me to send the money through western union and I would recieve the ATV in 48 hours. I said you still didnt prove me with proof and he said fine if you dont believe me then well call this deal off. I reported him to eBay and eBay sent me an email saying they are investigating it. A week later I was looking at quads and found a 04 blaster. I clicked it and it was a new user, 0 feedback. I looked at the email address to ask him a question and sure enough it was the same guy who had the banshee. He keeps making up false usernames to scam people. I wouldnt be surprised if we dealed with the same man. |

| I had a guy from NYC selling a 2003 shee on ebay the other day.. all hooked up tons of aftermarket... too good to be true for $2600.. I told him I wanted it and he said to bid and if I win the auction ( it was a private auction) he would ship it to me. I told him I would be in nyc in about 20 minutes with a trailer and a fist full of $100's... I sent him 50 emails with no response... another scam but because I lived 20 minutes away in jersey he got scared off |
