| A tmaxx you mean? And it's just one pipe, two stinger outlets. It's the old version of the CVEC pipes, it's my favorite. I love it's throaty sound and what it does to the engine/tuning. Anyways, i'd go with the HPI savage. The Traxxas new tmaxx 3.3 and revo im sure are nice but the HPI Savage has the .21 or maybe something bigger i forget. They make a 2 speed for the savage i think. That will get you going faster but not anywhere near 70. With big trucks like that, your acceleration will suffer big time when you gear it to go fast. That in turn means your slow offroad power will go to crap as well. As for handling, you can tweak the suspension and steering electronics to help. I'm not sure how strong the steering servos are on those models but you need a very good/pricey one to turn good. It will never handle as good as an onroad car, but it will handle really well with the proper set up.

| If looking into a nitro monster truck(not real fast or on-roaders), Go with the hpi savage or traxxas revo. The savage has a bullet proof drivetrain and a .25 stuffed in it. The revo has a smaller engine(.20) but the suspension is unreal. It's suspension travel is great(50% better than savage). And the revo's parts are cheap, easy to find, and durable. And you can throw .25 big block engine in it with no prob. These are 2 of the best trucks out there. Stay away from the t-maxx. The drivetrain is very weak. You will spend $1,000 minimum to be able to drop a .21 in it, let alone a .25 or .28 big block. The truck is just an old "king back in the day" monster truck. It started it all for a lot of the MT's out today. Best check out the savage x or the 3.3 revo. Go with the 3.3 revo over the 2.5 because the 3.3 has an extended chassis(3/4 inch over the 2.5). But If you want a stadium truck, The 3.3 jato is a on/off-road truck that will run almost 70 mph strait out of the box. But they are not real good rough terain bashers. They are prety low to the ground. All stadium trucks are low. But they will take corners a 35 mph with ease. And on to the engine question. If it is going in a stadium truck, I bet a .12 will do 30 or 40. But a .18, 50 plus. Now if it goes in a bonster truck if a .12 will even move it, 25 mph tops. But an 18 will push it to 40 or so. Anyway Just my 2 cents. Good luck with what you get.

| is it highly modified? if so, sell it and buy an older savage(savage ss or .21). You will thank me. it is a more fun and longer lasting truck. It's just a lot better design. Trust me, you WILL get bored with the t-maxx's perfomance and want a bigger, faster, more powerful engine. But the drivetrain will not hold up to anything more than the 2.5 engine(1.3hp). The new 3.3 t-maxx's eat tranny gears left and right. I have a friend that has one. But the savage. It can take a .25 engine(3+hp) without a penny in extra "hop up" drivetrain parts. Please don't stick with the maxx. I don't want you to get ripped off like I did.

| A 4-poke is more fun than a t-maxx.
