Default HPI savage 25 or traxax Tmaxx 3.3 ?

wich one is better,

it would be baught used on ebay.

It will be my first nitro car.

it would not be in any organized races. and i will not be jumping it over my house or other cazy stuff.

i dont meen better in top speed. because i am sure there both fast enough to shater my ankle bones. i am talking about durability.or just over all a better fit and finish quality piece of hardware. i like to get the good $#!t you know what i meen.

i would like to know just for the heck of it wich one is faster anyway.

and is the HPI 4X4 ?

The savage is more durable. They are 4x4. They are more of a beating up truck than the others I would say. Go to www.savage-central.com. They are little biased towards the savages but you can find a lot on that site.

step1:find video of a savage and t-maxx hitting at good speed, head-on.
step2: laugh at the t-maxx as it explodes into tiny pieces
step3:buy a savage
I don't even own a savage, but i've seen more than my share of models, and if your a beginner, a savage will be twice as forgiving as far as bad jumps, curbs, poles, cars, and other models

They are both 4x4 Rich.

Anyways, get the savage. It has the bigger stronger engine, more durable, and that's all that matters.

BTW i had a tmaxx for years and years. Get the HPI.

Well, a savage is a 1/8th scale and a t-maxx is a 1/10th so the t-maxx does not want some. The savage is bigger much stronger and tougher. Its heavier but also has more power. The t-maxx uses a small block engine and the savage is famous for its big blocks. The t-maxx also has a flat pan like chasis that does not offer much strength. The savage uses Twin verticle plate's and I have hit trees at 30mph with no problems. I would look into getting a savage X instead of the .25. The X comes with alot of improvments over the .25 If you do get the .25 you can easlily convert the parts that are better to the .25 like I am doing now.
