questions about ofna truck

i got a ofna monster pirate(i think it is atleast). the front end is out of wack. i can't get it to steer correct. first off it goes to one side or the other by itself on a straight away. then it doesn't steer that sharp. it takes these huge turns, might be just because of the big tires. so how do i get it to steer decent?

and the brakes don't work, they'll work on the bench but when its going it just keeps going.

this is my first nitro rc so bear with me.
