 So ya know who ya dealin with My name is Danny i am 18 years old and have been racing my dirtbike for 8 years.. i currently ride a 2000 YZ250. before that i rode a 2005 yz250 for a local team around here. i've been around dirtbikes, snomobiles, and quads all my life. i have been wrenching on a bike for 10 years, i can rebuild a bike (not counting motor work) in 2 hours, i was the team mechanic since the age of 14. i know my way around yamaha dirtbikes and carbs.. maybe not as well as some of your around.. I live in northern Minnesota between paradise and cloud nine.... which is a hour and a half north west of Duluth minnesota... i have a track 2 miles from my house and a ton of jumps.. also there is almost any type of riding imaginable here. if you think of it i can probably find it... for you Minnesota guys i would recomend the area. you definatly won't be disapointed. just so you guys know where this motor tech is coming from haha. i may not be the age you were expecting but i still know my shit  i also know my way around photoshop and am getting pretty good a website coding Last edited by VMX_Slowpoke2; 05-12-2006 at 01:18 AM.      |

| welcome to the site man...a little late I know, but I've been really busy lately. Good to see we've got alot of people that know what they are doing. I got my first quad when I was about 14 or 15...I've had it for four years and know my way around them...and I'm looking into stepping up to a yz250....

| recomend the 2000 or newer models with the redesigned powervalve and throttle positioning sensor on the carb... they only have a 2.1 gal tank... but IMS makes a large capacity one... i can get about 3 hours or about 80 miles out of my stock one and thanks guys
