MP3 player?

I want to get a new MP3 player to use while Im riding.Mmy last one just lost all of its memory. Do any of you guys know of a durible one that I could throw in my back pack to listen to while Im riding on the trails. They dont seem to rate them for this kind of use. Any help is apritiated I dont know the first thing about them I just want some tunes whil Im riding

I have a Iriver out of the 300 series.. It doesn't have room for 1,000 songs like these new ones, but realisticly, I only listin to 10 songs while im riding.. I think I have like 100 songs on there now.. It has a mic, FM/AM radio, radio recording, and is EXTREMLY durible. I have dropped it from atleast 5 feet, and it has been fine.. I also mount it inside my chest protector, and taken some serious crashes without hurting it.. I would get one of the clear case thing or whatever it is called that it goes in.. Deffinitly adds to the duribilty factor.. But trust me, I've been riding with it for over 2 years, and have dropped it continually and has withstood all the abuse I've thrown at it..

i dont think i can listen to music and ride at the same time lol i get zoned out while listening to songs i like and then i just crash or misjudge something lol

i wont listen to music when i ride. Whenever i ride i have to listen to not only my engine but other people's who im riding with.

yeah i agree with that. I like to hear the engine when i ride, and those crazy bitches that i ride with come out of no were, so i like to hear them coming.

yeah thats what most of the guys I ride with say but if you put one ear phone in and leave the other open you can still here the engines and I tend to ride faster with the music. I think I will go with the iriver my brother inlaw said the same thing

The type that I use when I ride that is perfect is the Creative NX, because It holds about 500 songs maximum, and it was not that expensive. I think that the base price for the 200 song one was about 130.00-150.00 . This thing is small and would be perfect for riding the trails.

I just bought 2 iriver T30 1 gigs off ebay for about 50.00 each there small light and cheap so if I do break it no big deal

Thats an extremly good deal.. I love irivers.. Alot of people say they are Ipod knockoffs, but they get better battery life, smaller, all at the same/less price..

yeah they are reconditioned and come with a 90 day warranty theres a ton of them on ebay
