What is the top speed and horse power of a stock..

I am a banshee lover and haven't had one in 10 years and may buy another. Have things changed? It used to be that no 4 stroke could touch a 2 stroke. OR for a 4 stroke to be equal to a 2 stroke motor it had to be double the CC.

banshee is 39hp as is the yfz450..i think the 660 is 36 and the 700 is 38hp...top speed..well they all do around 80+

If you are a Banshee lover then you should stick with it. You can still do more for less compared to a 4 stroke. A decently worked Shee will beat a YFZ450 and a stock Shee will beat a Craptor 660. The 700 I haven't raced yet.

Yeah i know the banshee has a ton of things you can do to it but tell me it aint so a 4 stroke 450cc has the same amount of power as a 350cc 2 stoke?

top speeds are really irrelavent, seeing is that you can buy sprockets for like 30 buck from rockymountian and change the top speed that easy. or just change the rear tire size. They all go about the same as far as top speed stock.

It all depend what your plans are for riding and where.I have a modded LT250 and a trx450r.If i had to choose between the 2 i would take the trx for many reasons but i love both!!

its all time and money. all the r&d for all the atv companys went to the 4 strokes. now the banshee, with the roots of its motor being designed in the 70's is a kind of a turd for what it could be in todays world with computer aided technology. toss some new designed cub or cheetah cylinders on it and it becomes what it should be, a 100hp monster. its still kinda funny to see all the new high tech 4 strokes still compared to the age old and primitive in relation, banshee.
