85 with idiotic speeds

this kid i know has a 2004 ktm85 and he says it will go like 80 or so... and that it will blow my cr125 away in a drag race, he says all it has is a pipe reeds and filter

should i beleive him or is he full of shit?

at the missouri state champ motocross race, the kids on 85's were pulling faster lap times than the 125's and 250's.

my friend had an 02 yz 85. piped reeds air filter. That thing beat all the 125 s he raced in a drag. But with the small wheels there limited in some conditions,

The Power to Weight ratio on the 85's are better than the ones on 125s.

Most riders who I've heard of switching from an 85 to a 125 had their laptimes decrease.
