 Polaris outlaw suspension (IRS) wtf What are your opinions on the new Polaris Outlaw rear suspension....i was at the dealership the other day and i was looking at some predators just to pass the time and i saw those outlaws.....they have the A-Arms in the rear independent suspension i thought it looked crazy so i asked about it.....and the guy showed me a little video of them and said that i could come back and test ride one later when they had one for test riding....he said he had taken a spin on one and it was a night and day difference in the corners...so i hoped on and it felt pretty damn cushy. it's got a 525 KTM four poke in it.....i asked him how well it would hold up to a raptor 700 or yfz 450.....and of course he was like it will kill it but all the sales guys say that shit.... http://www.polarisindustries.com/en-...5/Features.htm

| its got a ktm motor in a polaris bike? well, thats news to me. I thought it used the same motor as the predator. I've never seen one up close or rode one, but i've read about em, and it seems like a pretty good idea for rough rocky uneven terrain. but as far as going up agains a raptor 700 or yfz 450 in a rough tight rocky trail, yea it would probably be alot better ride with the outlaw, but when you get out in the open, i'd say the raptor and yfz would smoke it |

| yeah i think polaris owns KTM now if i am not mistaken....if you look at that link it says that it has a ktm powered 510cc power plant

| yea your right. guess I should have read the link first. man I think that thing looks friggin ugly in that side view, but its definatly unique. and did they re-do the motor for that quad? cause it said its got reverse, and I didnt know you could put a reverse gear in a dirt bike motor? 11 inch ground clearence is pretty impressive. and it seems to have alot of features to it, but I wouldnt own one. |

| Looks like a big piece of crap to me. I guess maybe if you just wanted a utility fourwheeler that moved more like a sport quad because thats what it looks like to me. It looks like crap just like the predator.

| I actually got to test ride on at the track, and give my opinions to polaris.. and i have to say.. it handles and corners really well. and the KTM motor is nuts, if it was on;y a 2 stroke it would rule.. but that 4 poke just limits the fun factor on straight aways...

| yeah but the brand new outlaws that are powered by the 525 ktm motor is 40 pounds lighter than the regular outlaw I did not know they where out yet I think it will be my next quad. keep the banshees of course!

| it does have independent, and the ceter pipe, but i guess it had been greatly upgraded from the previous year... plus a brand new powerplant..
