poison ivy BAD!

well i was putin up deer stands this past weekend and mustve got poisin ivy anyway now my left eyes swelled shut and ive got it right under my nose and it hurts like hell for some reason ive heard that if u put alcohol on it it drys it up real quick is this true? i cant get in the docters office until after school tom. so anything will be helpful

rubbing alcohol or gasoline will work if you take something abrasive and get the area all scraped up before you put it on there. I use concrete, spread some on it and let it dry for a few hours it drys up the best and its the least painful.

Yea man that shit sucks im just getting mine all cleared up. I found this stuff online called ZANFEL and this shit works good takes the ich and pain away on contact and drys it up only bad thing about it is that its 40 bucks for a 1oz tube..

I usually get poison ivy once a year, its hard to avoid on the land that i ride on. And i get it really fuckin bad, it spreads all over the place, itchy as hell. It usually gets worse everytime i get it. once i got it so bad my left eye was swelled shut, i had it all over my face, arms and legs, it really sucks. i bought this stuff callled calagel from walmart, i used it once this year when i knew i came in contact with it and it stopped it from spreading and it went away. poison ivy sucks
