 huge computer problem! ok I think I've got a trojan set on my computer....the antivirus thing keeps popping up a detection, and it won't go away, no matter if i deny its access, delete it, or anything else. And websites keep popping up saying that I've won some bullshit. Anybody have any idea how to get rid of this?>

| Go to download.com, and download "adaware", "spybot", and "hijackthis". Install those and run adaware and spybot, one after another. Most likely they won't completely remove the malware, so if you're still getting pop-ups, run Hijackthis and choose the option to do a "System Scan and Save to Log". It will put the log in the same folder that Hijackthis is in, copy and paste what it says to a reply so we can take a look at it.

| OK we've got antivir and something else and my mom was running scans on it since the day we got it and things are still popping up, just not as bad. But the trojan is still into the computer. I rarely get onto here because usually after I check my email something goes insane on it and it screws up and i just shut it off and leave. But its getting better now. And chad....why would I look at porno online when I could just go make a phone call and make my own?

| This is getting very, very wrong. Anyways...the crazy computer lady at the school where my mom works at is gonna take it and remove the trojan thing. Its not too bad...just pop ups every now and then...and occassionaly it will restart on me..
