well i went ridin today with al my buddies and we got a huge circle track out in this feild, with huge rollings hills, its real nice like 50 acre feild of rolling hills so its not all flat.. anywya, we have a nice track goin around it, 1 little narural jump in the middle from a little hill but that sit, its probaly like 1/2 mile per lap. anyway we all race around there, im almost 240lbs and i ride a stock banshee with some holes int he airbox, k&n and rejetted. thats it performance wise.. anyway i ride with all 4 strokers, raptor660 modded exhaust ++, yfz450 exhaust/jet kit, trx450r exhaust/jetkit/ and a raptor 700 .. well anywway, they hate to admnit it but evry now and then they will admit that they cant catch me hahaha, im the heaviest one by 60 pounds, except the kid who rides the 700raptor hes liek 10 pounds lihgter then me.. so anyway were racin around the feild i was in the lead for about 3-4 laps and then we go down a paved part of the road next to the feild, i started in 3rd gear, kid on a brand new honda450r with exhaust ect.. was in 2nd when i puled up next to him he said , we both went for it and were literally like wheel for wheel, dead even, it was weird actually.. like lookin in a mirror from 3rg-6th gear, netirher of us gained an inch, and he finally sits down after and goes " well wtf i spent all this money on this and thn put this pipe on it and i cant catch u if ur in front ahhaha dn i just laughed and said .. yea and im 60+ pounds heavier too,,.. hahahaha it was hilarious man, i got a 2003 banshee with like 2 yrs on the topend, runs beutiful tho, i love it, if it aint broke , i say dont fix it.. im sure the ocmpression is down quite a bit, but shes stil just so smooth , no stutters, nothin, pulls strong through all gears gooin on 2rd year owning it, only other thing i had was a blaster before this and im glad i got the banshee, no one can belive how fast it is we all race and they are amazed eveytime hahah love it

Good stuff man. Very glad to hear you love your bike and it performs great! Doing well in a race always make me appreciate my ride even more.

yea it kinda blew my day tho, after all that at the end of the day i im rippin around the feild around a long corner in liek 4th-5th and i hear screaching comin from my carier, i new i needed new carrier bearings, but i didnt know i needed em that bad, it bent the outside like lip of the carrier on the sprocket side, curled it back and it was rubbin it got fucked up , ive already found lots on ebay tho, i should be able to get anie one for uner $40, stock, but o well, great day ridin today, i gota say the banshee is a bad ass machine sorry haha they fuckin rip ass, even stock they own those 4 strokes and they all piped, all of em

I have a likewise story of the sort. In my avatar the is are two banshees, mine that is black and red, and my good friend's, the blue one. He weights at least 80 lbs less than I do (hence my user name). I have thousands less into my bike than he does. Running up Olds, if I get the jump on him, I'll run away. If he gets the jump, I'll catch him and run right beside him. It just pisses him off! He's got big carbs, pipes, port work, clutch, timing plate, jetting, and bore. I have some of the same, but all done by the advice of being tried and trued. I just didn't throw money at my bike, I searched out the functional mods that would be best for me and my style.
