the PS3 craze....

so i was thinking if i could get ahold of a few of these systems i could make a little money reselling them on ebay. so i left the bar last night around 1am and started to cruse around to all the stores that would sell them. well, every store had lines of people waiting outside. so i thought screw that idea. i was checkin out ebay today and seen a few of em go for crazy prices. $11,000 for one PS3, $7,100 for another, with the majority of em going or between 3 and 4 thousand dollars. thats just crazy. i turned on CNN and there is reports of fights breaking out at stores over these things. man, if sony would pull their heads out of their asses for a seccond they would relize what kind of a market there is for these things and produce more for sale at launch. ill probably pick one up once supply meets demand and i can go to a store and buy it at retail price.

NO NO you see that is thier trick....they are going to release a few at a time so the middle class public can't afford them and the ones who can have to sell them.....and the rich that have them figure they spent 4 grand on the son of a bitchin piece of plastic so they might as well buy every game.....then they flood the market like 18 months later....it happened with the XBOX, PS 2, and XBOX 360......they know what they are doing.....

some cops had to pepper spray a bunch of people in west jordan utah because they refused not to line up.....i guess the store had a policy that would only allow lines 24 hours in advance.

I ran into a buddy from school who was in line at walmart for one of these, he was 5th in line, and he was CAMPING. He slept outside walmart for 2 nights to get one of these bitches. He is also putting his on ebay, haha

Sony does it for hype factor. They aren't making any more money than retail price for them, but they are getting free publicity. If you remember when PS2 came out, it was in short supply, also. And the people on ebay paying THOUSANDS for these need their fucking heads examined........

I live in a small town here in ole Louisiana. For the Xbox360 launch i went 6 hours early and i was 16th in line and they had 18 to sell. I got mine, then sold it for profit.

With the ps3 craze hiting stores tonight at midnight, i dont have the money to buy one right now. otherwise, id buy one and sell it. Works great. 3-4k is expected.

I just do not undertand the fucking video game craze. These fuckers sit in comas don't eat, probably piss and shit theirselves to try and beat a fictitious dragon or muscle bound bitch or something of the fantasy land. They all want to kill and blow up stuff. Don;t be a panytwaste and grow some balls and join the military to shoot and blow shit up. Just my opinion though.
