| Have you looked into information technology? it requires a bit of programming across most languages, some database knowledge, basic network knowledge, etc. just a little bit of everything. If you enjoy HTML look into learning some PHP or ASP.NET or something - its web based scripting. The thing is nearly any computer related job takes some form of programming or another- unless you do a strictly hardware job, but those tend not to pay much. you kinda gotta find your happy middle ground. Additionally - the market is kind of saturated at the moment which is always difficult to read/figure out. That means if youre getting into something like IT you really gotta put the extra effort ahead to get experience while youre in school and get an upper hand. good luck...any questions shoot me a PM or drop something in this thread or what not. |

| This is going to sound bad but just throwing the idea out there. You would get a HUGE enlistment bonus from the Army with your qualifacations. Some of the easiest jobs out there give up to 20k sign on bonus. thats right out of high school too. Just throwing it out there im not into the whole recruiting people deal but if all else fails, you can always have a desk job in the military. Try everyone elses ideas first tho.

| I'm working for an American Company that has contracts on US military bases in Japan. I have had jobs that paid $50k~$86K TAX FREE. I have worked as a computer technician, data analyst and system administrator. Next week, I will be starting a new system administrator job. These companies also have positions in the US but you will lose quite a bit of money because of taxes and cost of living. Suggestions: Get at least an Associates degree and back it up with Certs (MCSA/MCSE, CCNA/CCIE) Checkout the websites for SAIC, CSC, L3 Titan, Northrop Grumman, General Dynamics for openings. |
