this is an excelent thread for PR atv and mx riders, we ride all around dont matter where when its not spposed against laws, but if you want to see over here in PR you see that every moment cops chasing atv but its no easy for them to get you around here unless you dont know were to go, my brother last sunday just passed dead center of the city with no stoping and the cars let them pass ahead becouse they now they arent legal and then when he got home there was like 3 cops around and had to wait to be able to go back out when they leave...

Well you stop...your quad gets impounded. You run...you have a chase of getting away or your quad gets impounded. personally i would run. Not out of rebeloius ways just because i love mine lol.

Well, If the cops didn't look at you like you just did a drive-by-shooting, then I'd would most likely stop for them. It's unfortunate that you have to run but, when you stop, no matter how polite you are to them, They still fine the hell out of you and impound your bike. So....what would you do? I'm running ! It's a no brainer!

I used to run from the cops all of the time. Now I ride where its legal...although its not as much fun.

depends where i am... if i am on a county road and think i can get away then i will but if i am backing into my driveway at a high rate of speed and a cop came up i would prolly stop

last summer i was heading to a buddies house in town on my quad. it was 2 am but who thought i'd see a cop walking...i ended up stopping but he told me to roll the damn thing somewhere and get it in the morning..no fines!! gotta loving living in a small town were you can ride anywere..just not after 12

my buddies and I used to out run the cops all the time. There was this old lady that used to call the cops on us all the time. My friend had a police scanner so we knew when they were on the way. We'd park the quads and wait for them to cruise by. We had the same cop come down 4 times in one day and by the 4th time he was extremely pissed! But hey, we weren't riding'em at the time, so he couldn't do much. I personnely have out run a state trooper and a sheriff's deputy, at different times. If its one on one, I'll run. If theres more then one, I'll stop, just cause its really hard to outrun the radio!!

the cops know my bike and they would more than likely be waitin for me when I got home. not to mention I live next door to a state trooper
