I've ran from the cops 14 times the 15th time which was recently i had no chance, a tree had fallen down in the road by this swamp an when i first came through no one was there yet well after riding about 2 hours on my way back through there was a trooper on the right side an a cop on the other, there was no way around either or through the middle because swamp on the side of the state trooper, tree in the middle of the road, an a 10 foot straight up bank on the side of the cop so i ran up onto the back of the state trooper an i was on the highway i looked for a damn place to go around before i came to a complete stop there was no path in sight so i stopped he got out an asked my age i told him he told me to get in the car i got 2 tickets, so many things i did wrong he had to use 2 tickets an i got charged for him writing them both up to payed 360 dollars an went to court, he told me he would of impounded my bike but he couldn't get in touch with a wrecker service

I have been in about 10 chases and only stopped once... i was blocked in. The cop was goign to take my quad, lisence and possible jail time and iw as only 16! turned out the guy knew my family and let me off. but once i had about 10 DNR and 2 cops after me and 4 buddies. oh yeah, forgot to mention the helocopter. we didnt stop! we jsut kept riding back to his garage like no one was tryign to get us. never looked up either but we could clearly feel the wind from the chopper baldes and hear the annoying pig ont he loud speaker. we took some back trails to my buddies garage and locked our selves in there for abotu 2 hours. they wee pounding ont he door saying " WE KNOW YOUR IN THERE!" they couldnt do shit becuase the didnt catch us in the act... there was a warning left ont he door and that was it. so the ebst thing to do is to Run home and lock it up. my two cents anyway.

I would definitely run, but my problem, is with a custom painted blaster the cops know me. But they i live in farm country so i just bail out to the closest field then when i get home they are norm,ally in my driveway. Thankfully they know i am an assistant chief at the hall and i get off without anything.

I used to have to deal with them on a daily basis, but my friends and I fixed that.
The trick is to get the cops called on you all the time, but when they show up, be within the limits of the law, and they can't do anything but get mad and say "If I gotta come back here..." and after about 20 or 30 calls they tell the neighbors "Maybe you should just leave them alone and see what happens." Its been about six months and they don't bother us, we put all of our silencers back on and put the toys up at dark instead of 2:00 a.m.

well yea if its more than one cop its hard but with one hell yea go for it but be shure to hide asap becouse if the call more cops your in problems, like others said i live in a small town and thay hardly dont bother but if they are pissed or somthing they will chase you but PR you have a 90 percent to go away or even more, you could hide anywere

lol thats what i did too. The first time i got caught, i was breaking my bike in after a rebuild. It was right before dark and i was ripping around our suburban neighborhood. I'll be damned if someone didn't call the police . Anyways he started following me, i stopped and waited to see if he'd pass he didn't so i kept going and he kept following me. so i stopped again to see what he was going to say, this was close to my house btw. He got out and was all good cop bad cop. he asked for license and reg. i kinda laughed. i told him that i just got my bike fixed and was testing it out. He was like we can do this one of two ways. you can either get in my car and your bike will be impounded or you can walk you bike home while i follow you there. lol i started pushing. and took my time at that. He then gave me that ,if i catch you on my streets again speech... needless to say now i don't let them catch me. lol like you said if they don't catch you doing anything wrong, then what can they do? last time someone called the police i had my bike loaded in my truck and i was already gone. the only left behind was quad tracks lol. now after that nobodys called the police. i think they figured that its not going to do any good and i'm not going to stop.

It seems like if you get caught riding on the road you get in the same amount of trouble if you are nice and stop or if you try to outrun them and get caught. I t would be better to try and outrun them. There are lots of paths that cut out near roads. JUST TAKE THE NEAREST ONE.

I was riding at night in winter with 1 of my friends we took the road about 25 miles to meet up with other friends. We took the roads cuz there was about a foot of snow on the trails. We were to meet them at a gas station. We got there and there was a cop sitting there. We quickly turned around and flew to a park. We sat there and called them to let them know and here they were being chased too. We told them to meet us at the park. We heard them coming down the street. They went passed the road to the park, but shortly after they came in. There was 1 missing. She shortly flew straight past the road and heading for the cops. Someone went to go get her and later we heard them coming. They turned right into the road WITH ABOUT 5 DIFFERENT COP CARS BEHIND THEM. There was a gate here at the entrance of the park with about 1 foot of snow in it. We all tried to go threw a short path. I launched my quad off a snow pile, went for the path and tail whipped my friend in a ditch (didnt mean to I didnt see him) Then my other friend got stuck in front of me I went flying and hit into him to quickly get him out. I got stuck and by the time I could get out the cop grabbed me and threw me in the ditch. My other friend tried to go to a path and a cop got in front of her and she hit the car. All 3 of us got caught. There was about 5 more out there. All we heard was their quads revving in the foot of snow in the woods. They all got stuck and they got caught as well. The only person who got out was the kid I hit out. He managed to get threw the 1 foot of snow in the woods at night, With no lights and bald ass tires. HE got free and the rest of us got our quads impounded. Everyone got theirs quick but they thought mine was stolen cuz they thought the #'s were scratched off. That was cuz the frame was painted and it covered the #'s. IT was funny though cuz my parents didnt care and my dad was telling me other ways I could've got away. Like shotting up some guys yard and taking the road all the way home and hide it lol. Ill never ride on the road anymore cuz that money coulda went to some more shit to my bike.

I was all down for running from the cops and doing shit like that, hell i have had my fair share, but to be honest it puts a bad light on atv enthusiasts and it make things worse for the sport..... I remember a day when i could go cruise any field, any road dirt or paved, constuction sights galore. But now every one is afraid of getting sued and no one wants a quad ripping across their grass or the scream of a shee waking up their kid in the middle of the night when someone feels like pulling wheelies up and down the road. Not trying to bag on anyone... just my opinion... unfortunatly running from the cops is just a bad idea... fun but bad.
