I live in rural south GA and years ago (I think I was 12 or 13) I had a trail blazer 250, ya I know not much, but it was a ride. ANy way we have miles and miles of interconected dirt roads that I would ride, and I would ride responably (not blowing by peoples house wide open or donuts every chance I had, just ride. There used to be this dickweek sherrifs deputy that lived down one road, and he came out a few times and told me to quit riding, and I was like whatever man, evey farmer has like 4 quads out here that ride.

Well finaly one day I went by his house and he was pulling out with his car, and ZOOOOOOM off I went and the chase ensued! well I also forgot to check my gas lever when I left to ride that day, so after only 5 miles (and beleive me no crown vic can even hang with a trail blazer on these sand roads loaded with curves I own a interceptor I know! lol) I ran out of gas!!! ahhh! so he got me! put me in the car and had a roll back pick up my quad, and off to the station I went.

HEHEHEHEHe! when we got there the sherrif was standing out side and he didnt look happy! he ordered the deputy out of the car, and basicaly kicked his ass! He said SON WTF DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING? THIS COUNTY HAS MORE DIRT ROADS THAN PAVED EVERYONE HERE OWNS A QUAD INCLUDING MY SON! AND YOUR GOING O BRING IN HIM BECOUSE HE WAS OUT RIDING? YOU WASTED MORE TIME AND MONEY THEN NEEDED.

long story short, the sherif was so mad he took the deputies keys from him and made the deputy pay the wrecker bill, including them taking my quad back to the house for me! and he got a desk position from what I was told for 6 months. Then the sherrif gave me a ride to the house, then I knew what was going on. We got there and my Dad was good freinds with the sherif! niiiiiiccceee

I would run but thinking about it twice, around here there aren't many +12 250r ATC's so I kinda stand out like a sore thumb haha

Besides I don't do anything stupid when I ride so I have no reason to run from the police; unlike the others who do that make the riding scene VERY DIFFICULT for us.. They usually just want to tell you hey don't ride here and that's it.

I own 2 of the 3 banshees in the whole county where i live, and the 3rd one is at a dealer for sale,.........SO every time a two-smoker is out in my area, the cops come to my house! and my friends have abused their freedoms with their 07 rancher 350 so bad that every time a red 4-poker is out near my house, the cops come over. Needless to say, I know most of the cops on a first-name basis AND most of them know that if it was me runnin, they shouldn't even waste their time (and I tell em, too) but i run a lowered, widened, ported, drag piped shee with 16-40 gears.
the best thing, though is that state poopers and fish&game retards are the only law enforcement that will even turn around and light me up, but you gotta love the tenacity of them poopers!!! they try soooooo hard to catch you. They will even try so hard that they'll do 75 mph on an unfamiliar gravel road straight into a right hand corner!!! (btw there's trees ALL OVER ark, so if you go off the road, a tree will stop you soon) I went to a friends to stash the bike for a few days and i have never ridden near there since then, but someday when i get a wild hair, I'll go back and see if he's still around!

AND ABOUT THIS ATV IMAGE THING...... If you want to have a good image on a quad, go buy a 700 craptor and put a better muffler on it and lug it around in 3rd gear! We all like to have fun now and then, and as long as the only person in danger is the one on the quad i don't care if it's in the middle of the mall!!
What about all these squids on rockets lately? nobody bitches at them. Hell, sportbike stunting has almost established itself as an organized sport!! And the f'ing cops don't even chase sportbikes anymore!!! fuck this! this is why my quad will do 120, so i can ride it when and where i want, and if the fuzz don't like it, all they gotta do is catch me or wait to scrape me off the road.
