haha good old cops.. i have ran from them a bunch of times, and let me tell you, theres nothing like the feeling of when you and 6 other quads and a few bikes are riding down the road with a trooper on your ass. But after a few good months of running they finnaly tricked us. We were ridin in the woods and we could see down into this one store parking lot and there was a motorcycle cop staring right at us. So we hauled ass out of the woods back to my buddies house and when we made the bend onto his street,wouldnt you know 2 cops sitting right in front of his house.

but they were actually kinda cool about it cause they told us that thier sick and tired of chasin our dumbasses and that we should load up our shit and ride it somewhere else so other cops can chase us. we were supposed to get 200 dollar citations but luckly i never got one

Run, Run, Run. If you get caught.....BS, BS, BS....Sorry officer, I've never been in these parts before and some of my friends say there's some crazy squatters back here that chase down atv'rs that cut through to slowly......I think they were setting me up for you guys.....nice friends....while acting completely perplexed, confused and scared!!!!!HAHAHAHAHHAHA. I can't remember what they charged me with.....but it was the smallest fine that they could give me after calling me in that they were in HOT pursuit!!!! Lol Good times! Word of advice, don't try to outrun them without an exhaust at 2:00am.

I would probably run. Some asshole ran me off the road with his truck once and I was on my quad, when I called the cops to report it, they came out and impounded my quad. Kept it for a week, then charged me $530.00 to get out of impound. And gave the other guy a $150.00 fine.

For me it depends on how well I know where I'm riding. In some areas I run.
Me and a bud were riding a new construction site right outside the city and came up on a cop sitting in his car. I just rode over to him and gave respect by asking if he minded us riding and he said he don't care if no ones complaining. At that point if he did mind and made some pathetic attempt to get out he would get a car full of dust. That's really the only time I ride where they have say, everywhere else is private land-friends.
It pays to be friends with the son of one of the biggest sand and gravel buisnesses around (Chaney Enterprises) Almost endless riding areas
