As a us citizen we all have rights and as a friend to our fellow law enforcement I would more then likely stop... for one reason, most of the cops I know ride bikes or quads and are more then reasonable. been pulled over a few times riding on the pavemant around my house in Vegas and they mostly ask what kind of quad i have witch turns into what they ride. their just guys to, some are dicks but most are normal..

Ha I probably would have thought about it before.

I was on my lt160 (yeah I know what a joke..) With bald rear tires it was fun to drift around corners. Well some friends flagged me down and I stopped to talk to them then took off to do a run around the block.. I come back around and they are screaming for me to run and I'm like WTH??! I turn around and a cop pulls around the corner and pulls behind me. Later I found out that he took off after me and I lost him..I never seen him and he didn't have his lights or siren on. If I would have thought about it I was 3 blocks away from an out of town dirt road so I could have made it.

Now when I get a shee built I wouldn't even try. They have some new Charger on the force and I'd have one out of 4 banshee's in town so They would find me quick.

a customer of mine's son thought the same thing. Was outrunning them down train tracks , hit a rr tie flipped end over end.....now shits in a bag and drools on himself all day.

Its really not the right thing. The only reason they want your ass is because 90% of the time you are on the roads or tresspassing... Maybe I am just an old grumpy fuck, who knows

it depends on what you are doing, most of the cops around here will just tell us to get them home! but if i had to chose, id run, hit the nerest field and go field to feild until i got to my woods then wait and wach and then head up my field right in back of my barn and im good, o an di have never done thins

i know a guy that was ridding his 610husky on the road and come up behind a cop driving slow he was going about 60 so he just passde him on the left and never looked back lights flashing he hit first field and was gone the cop stoped at all nieghbors and asked questions on who it was they told but he staid head for about 2 days till things cooled off

Chances are, they haven't been riding as long as I have, they aren't nearly the rider as I am and they aren't going to shoot you. Even if they did, it's really easy to play dumb. I couldn't hear you/see you would work for just about every instance.

Case in point, I snapped off my flag on my last trip on a ride. Whadda you gonna do? I headed back to camp immediately Anyways, as I blew past a BLM truck, he proceeded to flip on his lights and sirens. By the time I realized it, I was at the top of a hill. What is he going to do, walk up the hill? Don't think so. Even with there bitchen new buggies , they would never catch me. I'm not even going to give him the chance to give me a ticket for breaking my flag on a ride, then try to bust me for some other BS thing like they love to do.

They day they stop being pricks, I might think about stopping. BLM digging through our ice chests in camp, giving my friend a DUI for picking up glass bottles at oldsmobile (open container ) Well, I'll think about stopping. They'd have to run me out of gas or bust me in camp for something, but to answer the question.. No, don't stop. F them

Around here its not the cop you have to worry about its the dnr. ive been stopped 3 times by cops all they say is slow down around 8 so you dont wake the old people. But the dnr they take your shit and never return it no matter what you do. The dnr lady about 2 miles from here has 2 banshees and like a shit ton of other quads sitting at her house and i know she didnt pay for em. does that sound illegal to you guys??? but yeah i try not to ride unless i know she is off duty i mean she isnt mean aslong as you stay off the state land. stay on the roads and she will prolly try to race ya..

ive raced a cop but i was on my own land and he was on the road after that he came by told me to make sure i stay on my own land....lol

I don't run anymore a guy took off when the cop left his car and started to approach the atv and he gunned it the cop reached out to grab on to the atv or some shit and according to the officer his belt got stuck on the side of the ATV and out of defense for his life he pulled out his sidearm and shot the guy riding a few times in the back and he died about a day later iirc.
The officer said light posts were passing him very quickly and said he was being dragged at 60mph+ the atv being an old honda utility could only do about mid 40's so some of it seemed exaggerated.
