ok 370 im not sayin fords are bad im sayin that the diesel engine is bad IMO it is i actually like the interior better in the ford it is more comfterable but the engine i dont like. put it this way i know you wont believe me but my cousin had a 2004 6.0liter in his brand new truck and it had been to the shop over 60 times in 6 months for engine work the thing ran like shit so he took it back and they refunded his money it isnt a lie it is the honest to god truth

some 6.0 powerstrokes were problematic.. as with any new engine design teh first year is a trial year... i have an 04 and with 82,500 on it not even so much as a hicckup... so i'm guessign that youir saying cummins never had a few bad apples... every manufactuer and every model has a few "bad ones".. that why they have things like the lemon law.. so he got a bad one... they did the right thing and refunded his money and/or gave him a new truck..... when i worked at a chevy dealer they did this for a guy when his Z71 had an intermittent miss they couldnt; chase down... IT HAPPENS... your basing the production of hundreds of thousands of engien off of 1 that youri cousin had? thats a very juvenile and uneducated way of looking at things.. and if your father is a tech then he'd know one very importatnthing about beign a mechanic.. NEW PARTS GO BAD... my dad is a GM tech and if new parts didnt; break or fail... then he'd be living in a box... thats what warrantees are for.. get over it....

oh and that 600ft/lb cummins is called a cummins610

Here is my new project. I traded the 62 unibody for it. The uni was to much of a rust bucket. This is a 87 Ranger with a 2.3 four. I'm going to do the turbo coupe motor swap to it when I get a little more time. I'm doing the bodywork on it right now.
