Maxpower LTR550

I was flipping through the pages of the Jan. 08' issue of ATV action and saw their review of the Maxpower Suzuki LTR500. Stories like this are the reason I even buy these rags anymore. I do applaud them for actually printing a dyno graph. According to the graph the stock LTR450 + cherry bomb & no lid made 34.7hp. My 79' YZ400 made 37hp stock. After the 550 kit it made 45.6hp. In print under the graph they say the dyno is wrong and it should be 53.7hp. Whats up with that? Then they claim that Maxpower rates the kit at 60hp.
The bottom line:

45.6 or 53.7 or 60hp
Even more frequent valve adjustments
Race gas only
Required piston changes every 20 to 25 hours.

Someone tell me who the hell can afford that and where the 4 stroke advantage is?????
