Ok, i am not gonna sit here and hate because it all boils down to what you want to ride in the long run, but i will say this though, your gonna miss your smoker, and now your just gonna be another guy in the trails, your not gonna get the...wow look at the 250r...wow what year is that....your just gonna be another 450 running around. But good luck with it...if i were to get a 4 poke i would get the suzuki for sure.

well i dont ride trails, and i often get shit for the R with peopel saying stuff like, "oh look at the dinosaur 250r" or "what a piece of shit 2 stroke" so im not to worried aobut looking cool or what ever, but im getting it because it will out perform the R for a lot less money

What's wrong with dinosaur's? They were bad ass, would you take on a T-rex I don't think so. Have fun with your unbreakable 450r you think it will be cheap to race and your dirtwheels mod to do list was nice but when another ltr passes you with more modification's you'll keep on buying more to keep up. How many pro's race with just the cherry bomb/airbox lid removed/exhaust baffle removed?

well if your gonna go four stroke, you're going with the right breed. i have always been a suz hater and a couple years ago i watched an ltr spank a whole field of modded banshee's, 500's, 450's, and dirtbikes going up sand mountain. i was camped next to him and he let me take it for a spin, it was real nice.

oh believe me, i am going to severly miss the R, i know that for a fact, but i just dont want to deal with all the bullshit associated with getting an R to run well, i am going to mod the LTR a fair bit but not that much im probly gunna get fox float evols in the front on stock arms, HiPers and razr MXs all around, take out the baffles, high comp piston, killswitch, and probly some graphics. Then ill probly race it like that for a year or so, and then a yoshi motor and pipe or somethin

The only one that weighs less is the CanAm Ds450, and not by much...
Put this into perspective the stock 85lt250r is 330lbs. The LTR is the ONLY Sport 4 stroke quad I would own.....
umm the kawasaki and suzuki both weigh more than the honda and yfz, which are both claimed 350 lbs dry, the suzuki is claimed 368 dry... and kawasucki, which is mostly aluminum is 364 dry. kind of sad.
people make fun of banshees for being heavy, after takin the boat anchor stock pipes off and putting some aftermarkets on , the banshee is 380 , probably less, dry so these new space age 4 strokes arnt really all that great when it comes to weight
im not tryin to bash the 450's at all, ive ridden the honda and yfz quite a few times and both were great, i have never ridden a suzsucki and untill i do i will still call them suzsuckis, but im sure they are great machines.. now you can fit in with the cool crowd at the mx track, they wont call u names and make you cry!
