well my plan for this year, was to build the R into the sickest possible MX R, but ive been thinking about it, its a lot of money, for something tahts not really gunna do much better than a 450, and i found a guy that will possibly trade his 08 LTR with a cherry bomb, and pro armor nerfs, im pretty sure im gunna go through with it, i would rather a DS 450, but those are gunna be hard to come by for cheap for a while, and this way i wont be dumping another 2.5k into the R for the 800th time, lol so as i said, let the 4 stroke hating begin haha

ya ill only get one if its a 08 tho, they made over 100 improvements over the 07 modle, the only thing tahts holding me back still, is the 363lb dry wieght, but im sure ill get over it once i ride it, and an after market exaust and fox float shocks should help that a bit

The only one that weighs less is the CanAm Ds450, and not by much...
Put this into perspective the stock 85lt250r is 330lbs. The LTR is the ONLY Sport 4 stroke quad I would own.....

well making it faster is easy as hell, take off the airbox lid, get a cherry bomb, and take out the baffles since its a 08, get a hi comp piston and run c12 and already youve gotten yourself about 7-10 more hp
and ill be more out of money with the R if i broke it, because its not the top end that would worry me its the bottom, the old bottom ends just cant take 55+ hp so i would probly be getting a new crank and gears, along with just doing a standard bottom end rebuild every year and all of that isnt the cheapest stuff ever
and im not so worried about the wieght anymore, because i just talked to someone taht just switched from a mx blaster to 08 ltr and said that it really isnt that bad and his blaster wieghs about 310lbs
