Well after some work here is the bomb.It got a new 44mm lectron carb,new cdi,valves and cams,and some port work.We did the plastics in a rubberized bed liner coating.That stuff looks tough and is tough!!Anyway,just wanted to show the big 4-stroke off.The boys say it will run with my trx now.(not gonna happen,but I'll let them find out the hard way!)

yea i doubt it will run with your trx steve but i bet its pretty torky now, i might be getting a stock 85 atc250 by the way dude

tranny- override/lockout/pro lock clutch, lightened flywheel
chassis- lots of polishing/chrome parts/powdercoating, lightened frame

The r is done,just over $1000!!!!I need to pick it up now!! The bomb was way too much,400 carb,250 cams,600 valves and port,cd1 125 and the memories-will be pricless!!! I did ride the bomb on the street and that big fu#%&* is pretty fast now!!!!(for a 4-stroke) I almost did a alky carb,but didnt want to purge more bikes,and the kids would forget anyway.I am looking at a nitrous kit,but way pricey!!!

That would be very cool,another fast trike at the drags!! Just so you know,i have a buddy with a 85 atc with a 86 motor with cool head,port work,pipe,carb ect... and 4 inch swinger,and I could get it for around $800-1000 (he told me to get him a $500 motor and give him $400 cash and its mine!!),he needs a truck motor and has no cash!!!Its a fast bike in good shape,a good deal I think!!!Yea the boys sure think the ds is fast now,but let them just wait till dad lines up on them and fills them up with dirt!!!!!

To do the 5.5 stroker you'll need to go to a 350 cyl.and that means machining the cases!!A 4mm long rod will work with your 310,and be dependable too!! $500 is a good price! I may end up with this thing anyway.I got the motor at work,I do all the pricing and sales,so...We both should get a good deal! Let me know when your ready to go ride.

lo i thought i was ready to ride but i my stator went out, i got another one just havent had time to throw it in yet, i still need to break the motor in but as soon as i do that i wanna meet up with you at the drags one of these weekends bro
