| the predator is uncomfortable for me but it does have the power to get you where you want to be in some situations, personally i would get a 450 over a predator but if i wanted something bigger id get a raptor 700 or outlaw 525

| i have riden a 450, and a predator many times...predators are tanks....but fast! maybe its my riding style...but i like a bike i can throw around.... like a banshee or a 450...... when out trail riding my buddy's predator, i got in some pretty hairy hill climb situations...... when things got realy steep, i felt like i had no control, the bike would pull me behind it, and i was along for the ride...i flipped it even...that thing is super heavy.... like if im on a 450, and i hit a bump, i can jerk the bike into the flight path that i want, but with a predator, i was along for the ride.... hope that helped... |

| ya people always say taht certain bikes are "more comfortable" but i dont care what its like when your sitting down, if your working your ass off jsut to ride it, and who just sits down and putts along through trails, if your doing that, then you should be on a sport quad in the first place, go ride a sportsman 800 or something, the only time im ever sitting when im riding, is on WOT straight aways, or right when i land a jump |

| no i dont dislike him, i just hate his bias opinions a month ago if this same thread were to pop up he would have said screw the 450 and predator and get a 250r, now hes got a boner for a ltr450 so 450's are the best and eveyrone should get one |

| I have ridden the LTR and Quadracer87's predator. I personally thought the LTR has better handling than the predator. The 500 is big and it goes thru the air very well but there is very little control in the air. The 450r felt fast off the line and all the way down the straight away. Id say get the 450r.

| i Have a Predator ( far from stock now ) and have ridden 450r's, yfz 450s and LTZ 450's. The 450's are lighter but not at all comfortable to me. The Predator is heavy but fits me alot better. As far as being fast, I have ran against alot of different bikes and the only 1 that has handed my ass to me was an 86 ATC 250R with a CT 330 kit. 2900 bucks is an awesome deal for that bike.
