there was a thread on "post your self-painted wheels" and i posted mine, and i got a ton of crap from people and said they wouldnt ride the bike because of them, and said i ruined the bike and said its worse than stock.

id say only like 1\4 the guys on their arent dumbasses, sticking with good E2S

i think theres nothing really wrong with the rims, i think i did a good job on them and they hold up pretty well.

the only part that is wearing off is on the back from the weight of the bike and me pushing the tire down over the rim sometimes when i jump:

Personaly I would have powdercoated them, But like you had stated you didnt have the time/money....
It dosent look bad though, I really dont dig the shiny colors nowadays. Actually I dig the Flat colors.
I think that it looks pretty good bro, I would not be afraid to ride that beast...
Just when it chipps off in the future & you have time, Get them powdercoated!!

they looks great for using a can of spray paint. but it could have been done better. if someone is makin fun of them, just whoop their ass in a race and then make fun of that person for lose to a bike with ugly ass rims. i like your rims and i wouldn't mind ride that bike. if people ask why you paint them, say "I did paint them with some sweet flames to make it looks really fast, but it was too fast."

I agree with Rob on this one, bottom line is if you like it then thats what matters, who cares what anybody else thinks.

that looks like shit!. the only thing i would do is get some paint remover and hope to god it comes off! not really, looks good. i would get some remover and get the paint off the tires, valve stem and spokes

Things can always be better for It looks great for what you did. I sure wouldn't miss out on a ride over it lol.

The blue on blue looks great but you did half ass the job. if you just clean the tired and spokes it would look a lot cleaner and nicer. the paint on the rim looks nice and great.

i do agree the spokes need cleaning, ive tried steel wool and WD-40, just steel wool, and some dish detergent, doesnt work that well, any suggestions? maybe some oven cleaner?
Thanks guys. Im actually going to do my 250f's black this summer, once again i dont have the money to pc them but ill use some of this stuff my dad used on the engine of our cobra that stuff is rock solid if you heat it up.
