v8 performance?

I have before. Rebuilt the 305 in my 91' camaro when I had it. The cheapest bang for the buck mod's are matching the intake and exhaust ports to the gaskets. If it's a high milage motor a new timing set will also tighten things up and keep the motor in time. What are you planning with these high ass gas prices?

well i have a 1986 chevy c10 shorty ,,,i have a chevy 327 out of a camaro sitting with trw pop-ups 12:5:1. not all done yet.

and i got a chevy 383 stroker (350 and 400 mix etc).with kb 10:5:1 pistons,high rise tunnel ram(offenhauser),single holley 750 double pumper.camel hump 2.02 heads.
the high gas dont effect it much as there just toys.

im putting the stroker in the c10 shorty.with the nuetered 700r4 tranny with overdrive,,,and the gm 12 bolt posi rear end.


i need to get tires etc for it,,,had the b&m shifter on the floor=D.
and (my dad) has a 1973 flat bottom hawaiin jet,460 big block ford,offenhauser tunnel ram,dual holley 650's,huger lopey cam,,pete jackson high pitch gear drive,idk bout the heads or pistons,,never asked him.
