Default CRF450 dirtbike how fast r they???

For a couple weeks I've been hearing my neighbor riding an insanely loud dirtbike around his woods. I got to see it today riding down the street. Apparently no one told him that everything I can see and hear from my house is 400 Blaster territory!!!
How quick are these things? From the looks of his street take offs it's bark is worse then it's bite.
Do I have a chance?
Yeah yeah I hear you "Jes race and find out"
No one wants to be embarrassed foot steps from their house

if he can ride it half way decent and yall race out in the field with good traction at the start, theres about a 65% chance he will pull you to the end and about a 35% chance that you beat him. if you dont believe people who say how fast and hard the 450 bikes pull, ride your blaster over to his house and chit chat for a bit and see if you can take his bike for a quick rip, then you might have second thoughts about whos the fastest.

Well Paulie, to be completelly honest with you, i think he we beat you pretty easily, obviously i dont really know how fast your blaster is, but those bikes are pretty dam fast, my buddys YZ426 accelerates like a bat outa hell. I could be wrong because like i said i really dont know how well your blaster runs but...oh wait a minute...your running a pro-lock clutch now right? yah never mind, go wax dat ass...lol

Thanks guys. Well with whats been said, if I lose then I'll have no shame. Gimmie a bit to get the motor back on the frame and we will see. We would prolly be racing in the street. Win or lose I'll report back to this thread.

I just got a new 07 CRF450R about 5 months ago. That thing hauls ass! It has crazy torque. Just putzing along it will hang the wheel in 4th gear without effort, I had it up at Silver Lake this past weekend, and no trouble what so ever going up any hill, I could just put it in 3rd and go half way up test on 1/4 throttle then just turn it a little more, and it just powers right up that hill, and right over the other side. I am just amazed by the performance of these things, I didn't think I would be all that impressed, but I defintely am.
