yup, welding is a pretty good trade to get into. thats what I do. I'm into the Fabrication end of it so you can make better money than just workin some shop makin exhaust parts for peanuts. try to get certified to weld live gas mains. thats where the money is at. I'm supposed to get my certs this year for it. If your into scuba diving you can make serious money underwater welding. VERY HIGH RISK jobs pay the big money.

yea welding pays good, but welding school is over-rated.
i tought myself,i'm 15 1/2,and i got offered a job at one of the most populer welding shops in mohave valley, arizona, starting me at 13,an hour, but i have to wait till im 16.

small engine repair can pay pretty good if you get into it right.theres a shop here thats always busy getting 65,an hour for working on peoples small engines..

a/c is what i kinda like, easy to me and that shit pays good(especially as it gets 125 degrees in the summer here),starting as just a gopher/apprentice 11 an hour, which i guess can let you live.

i like welding and a/c.
but i really wanna be a welder.

Very high risks jobs speak for themselves. But then again living from paycheck to paycheck sucks so much.

pffff well Michigan welders dont make shit for cash... i know im a welder.

certified dont get ya much more around here.. it accualty keeps you from getting alot of jobs.

Gas tank welders around here only make 20-30 a hour <-- not talking about automobile gas tanks either. (propain methaine anything flamible)

Im self employed its nice.. only if your busy all the time.

A machinest makes good money around these parts.. (Mill Leght) etc

Laser Programs..

Engineers

Road Commision

I would say figure out what you like to do. Think about it and then look for a job that relates..

Whatever you do dont just settle for a job just because of good pay.. if you dont like your job then you will be misrible.

YES!, pick out a couple of things you enjoy doing and figure out what pays the best. Being miserable at what you do for work is the pitts..

Right now I am a college student, going to become an Mechincal Engeering. My school has a Co-op program and right now my job involves making, testing, and other things with garage doors. It isn't a bad job for my first co-op job. make ok money but I always want more.
