| Hi Guys Just bought me a new(secondhand) husky 340 chainsaw. I blew up my old saw last week and didnt know why until yesterday when i read somewhere that you cant use marine oil in aircooled 2/strokes cause it doesnt handle the heat! Problem now is that I ran a tank of it through my new husky before i found that out!! Are there any 2/stroke afficionados who can tell me if i might have scorched the bearings or some other nasty already by running this wrong oil? I ran about 3/4 of a tank through it. I dont know if its coincidence or if it has something to do with it but the old girl also stopped spitting out chain oil halfway through that tank of fuel. ( i dont know cause its the first time i used the saw and maybe he sold it to me with a bung oil pump?) Thanks guys Zonga |
