yeah it for sure did outtacontrol.....pain killers wore off at 625 this morning...now i've got little gauze bandages all over my back and nothing is cool right now. nothing....

those shocks are pricey, you can get a dual rate elka w.o rezzy's for like $425 lol....
I think for the suspension im gonna wait and get something nice....those ASR are pretty nice...and not a bad price on them either....I think Ebay is going to be a big help for me on this little rework. plus I've got the dirtbike to ride for now, that thing never breaks anything major....just brake and clutch levers lol. It doesnt help much that Im on strike right now so im not really bringing in any money, but once we go back sundays open up for overtime....so im gonna jump on that for sure....hopefully the quad will be done sooner than i hope lol.

lol the timing is at +4 right now lol....but the flywheel could get lightened....ill grab my puller and that should be on its way to you within the next week or so.

Anybody hear of American Star Racing? They've got a sweet a-arm kit for like $530 on there website....and im diggin it.....i'm thinking get taht and then check out ebay for some yfz shocks.....will stock yfz shocks work with a +2 arm on a shee? Otherwise im just watching ebay for a cheap elka's deal......

But since my steering stem was allready bent im thinking bout getting a ASR +2+1 stem, and for an extended axle ASR makes a real nice one with a carrier for $600 something.....I really am liking their products and they have a fairly good price for everything. Anyody have expierence with them at all?

it happened about a mile from my house. so i just walked home, popped a viccoden, jumped on the tractor and drove out to the field where it happened. I loaded the quad into the bucket of the tractor, ratchet strapped it onto there and hauled it home and put it into my garage.

Took it apart yesterday....upper a-arm is bent, tie rod snapped, rim is a little beat up and bent, there's dirt in the bead that is packed in good, the grab bar is shot, and the subframe is twisted and bent a little bit but nothing a cresent wrench and big lead pipe can't fix lol.
the lower a-arm and shock are fine...the spindle i think is ok too, it looks fine.

I have ASR arms on my Blasty and love them. IMO they are some of the best out. Their captured ball joints are better then the regular ball joints everyone else uses when it comes to travel and adjustability. My only gripe which isn't much is they paint their arms instead of powder coating. You can get better deals on them through Ebay. I think I payed $369 for mine...PB

Thats nice paulie. But was it the entire a-arm kit with the brake lines and ball joints or was it just the a-arms, and tie rods? It looks like a pretty good deal, and on ebay i've seen them cheaper. Anybody have an idea on yfz shocks? with they work with +2 shee arms or no?
