Default The shee aint as bad as it looks (pics)

So I went for a little ride today....nothing major right? just tooling around the farm. Well i was riding down my lane and was in 3rd gear just idling.....got to a nice flat level spot that was a straight shot, and slipped the clutch and hammered on it. The front end came up much faster than I anticipated, and before i could hit the rear brake well....the pics tell the rest. my shoe fell off too.

From what I've looked at without taking anything apart, new upper a-arm, possible lower, possible shock, possible spindle, new handlebars, new grab bar, and my fricken steering stabilizer broke. That god damn thing has once again showed me that it has power....this time i learned. its going to sit for a while...probably a month or two...but i cant wait to get back on it....for now i'll just ride the dirt bike .....
As for my back it just hurts like hell, few other bumps and scrapes here and there on the rest of the body....nothing searious though, at least i think so....the viccoden is kicking in so im gonna take a shower....when it wears off i'll know if something is broken.

And the sick thing is I'm allready thinking about what aftermarket parts to get to replace the messed up ones.....I want to get extended a-arms but thats costly....

Holy crap dude!
I'd like to say it could have been worse but you did pretty good.....
When I put the 426 on the bar one time it scared me. I was a lil shy the next couple times with the throttle. Aftermarkets parts now you say? My thoughts exactly

ouch man.....sounds like me the other day on my dads lt250,,,,,i was haulin ass and hit an elevated dirtroad to jump it and cruise the other beaches,and hit a lip on the other side,fell forward and sprained mr wrist,and someother thing and had to ride back with a half hanging onn wheel and a bent a arm

lol paulie....thats my favorite part about when something breaks or doesnt work, you get aftermarket stuff!!! lolim allready thinking braided stainless brake lines.....probably going to just get the stock a-arm for now, i dont have a couple grand to drop into shocks.....but ill paint all 4 of them, all new bushings in the front end, gotta find a new front bumper, ill paint both tie rods, mabye the spindles too?? not sure...

lol and dmartin, i wish i had extra's laying around but i dont....kinda pissed but i dont think i have enough junk laying around to have extras yet lol...for my dirtbike i have both an extra clutch and brake lever lol.

that guy must be out of his mind with those used works shocks... i dont think the dual rates even cost that much NEW.. i got triple rates, brand new, for about $60 more

if i were you id bite the bullet, take a little time of riding and replace the busted front end with an aftermarket one, no sense in replacing junk with more junk

sorry to hear about the wreck, i did the same thing a few years ago, not as bad as that though!
