Default Another $-stroke. No more 2 stroke =[

I really like the power of the 4 strokes so i had to get another one. I sold my 125 because the power wasnt cutting it for me. Sold the 125 for $1550 and bought the 2004 kx250f for $2400
tell me what you think

very clean looking bike, at a pretty good price also. yea the 250f mx bikes have the power and snap to hold their own againts the 125's. ive rode a cr250f (one with the dual silencers) and it was very impressive. the throttle response is crazy fast and it pulls hard from the bottom end to the midrange but the topend power feels kinda weak compared to a hard running 125. and the gears are spaced pretty close so you have to shift pretty fast to say in the powerband on em.

dont worry, my dads probably gona get a yz250 soon. once we fix the yz250f hes probably gona sell it because he'll probably say "i dont want it to keep breaking" because hes a hard headed guy and we'll buy another 2 stroke after that.

Nice bike. i dont mind the 4 stroke bikes they do have handfulls of power....but get this:

When i went to the stealer ship to get my 06 yz 125, there was a 250f and a 450f sitting next to it. The guy told me on them Yamaha reccomends you adjust teh valves every 7 hours of riding, and rebuild the motor every 30 hours of riding. Is that not rediculous?! I just laughed as I walked out with my 125. I love that fricken bike its fast has a very strong midrange is lightweight (189lbs!!) and to rebuild it without scuffing teh cylinder wall will cost me around $120!! can't go wrong with taht.

But the kx is a very nice bike too. I rode my buddy's 06 and it was nuts, the front end never stays on the ground.

LOL every 7 hours they are trying to steal ur money. Its only about 70 hours for vavles depending on how hard u run it. And only 150-200 hours for a topend.
