this guy has been coming to see me since last winter when he was real young, he eats out of my hand, apples, bread, ect, now that he just starting to get his first set of horns he always wants to put his horns into my arm or leg and try and push me, its funny as hell, oh yea, i live in NEW JERSEY..theres proof not all of new jersey is like newark and camden. anyway heres a few pics of him,first one from last fall when he was real young, then a couple i just took like an hour ago when he came by to say hi




he tried to sniff my cat, she didnt want any part of it

I always wanted a pet deer

I hope he doesn't get chummy with some hunter.
We had a pet deer we rescued when it's mom got hit by a car. He was hangin out on the road next her. I feed him from a bottle. He stayed in the fenced yard and would run to see you and lick you like a dog. He was very friendly.
One of my jealous no life neighbors reported him the animal cops and they took him away and threatened me with a huge fine.
The sad part is IMO he was too friendly to people to survive in the wild.

i have seen that before pretty neat to see wild game come up to the back yard for a petting and snacks ,id feed him alcohol so it gets addicted and always comes back for more ,i know of one deer the people would tightly put a big orange hunting vest on it to prevent a shooting in deer seasons

It's illegal to bait deer isn't it? But opening morning you should be the first to the butcher and weigh station with a buck!

yea guys its pretty cool, he just showed up one day last winter, standing in my back yard staring at the house... so i went out and gave him some bread and the rest was history, he comes back like 2-3 times a week now, hell come out of the woods, right down my driveway and stand about 10 feet from my garage just lookin in the house, he definitely is one in a million, i pet him like a dog, grab his horns and he wants to play and push back against me, yea he eats bananas too haha, probably the only deer that does, yea good idea about the jacket, i was thinkin about gettin him a bright orange collar or somethin like that, hes too special to be shot by some half drunk hick

NEVER u bastard! i could never shoot an animal, any kind, unless i actually needed the meat or something to survive

awww that is tooo cute. i love bambi...we have some squirelles that do that but thats not nearly as cool as having a pet deer, especialy in jersey! get the vest!

In the probably 7 years i've been hunting i've killed 13 deer. But if I knew one was somebody's pet i'de set my gun down and play with it lol. To me a wild animal is wild....once its semi domesticated its not a target to me...I'de let that bad boy grow...during deer season make a cage or something for him lol.

Just wait until those horns make a huge rack and he pushes them into your chest. I have heard of people being gored in Nov. during the peak of the rut. Then you mount that as a shoulder mount and it can't hurt you at all.
