staffordshire terrior?

we are meeting this cutie saturday and gonna have her stay a couple days.. we have 4 boys and she is 11 months old ....i did some researching on the net so what i need to know is if any one has any expierence personally with these dogs?Trixie - one year old spayed Staffordshire Terrier

Everyone I know has dogs and a friend has one, very loyal family oriented friendly dog. No probs at all.. How old is this dog?

I had a staffordshire/jack russel mix and he was a GREAT dog....loved to run and run for miles when we'd go riding, too.

He got along with everyone and loved to go play at the park with other dogs...never had issus with aggression.

Why are they getting rid of it? Oh and if this is anything that matters to you(some people don't care) but some homeowners insurance companies won't insure/continue insurance/cover injuries caused by this breed if something WERE to happen so if thats any consolation you might want to check into it.

Yup, I had home owners insurance probs with my old pitbull.

she s1 year amonth to the day. we brought her home sat ... i can tell shes very loyal cause we let her in the yard without a leah and she goes no where. she licks the kids to death..so far so good. shes cute! we got her form a REscue who says the old owners didnt pay her attention and she kept escaping the yard.

Sounds like a win win situation for all! The kids, the parents, the dog! Good job on getting the dog a home..
My dog was also rescued, no pound for him!!
