Interesting article

I was stumbling around the internet and I found this article on dynoport's website. I don't know what to think about it. It has its points but do you actually think it'll happen?

I agree with most of the points in that article, like with novice riders and pro riders on the same track. But not all tracks are like that, at echeconnee there were no real dangerous doubles or triples, they were mostly tabletop "style" except for 1 real double. I also agree with the fact about the young flaggers, if we have kids out there who don't know what their doing us riders can get hurt. But to make ALL the jumps tabletops? i'm not sure about that, maybe make the triples less dangerous, but a short double is dangerous, but not too dangerous, i've came short on small doubles and came out without a scratch on me and my bike, my pride was hurt but thats all. I'm not really sure where i stand with this, I guess you can call me middle of the road. MX and SX is dangerous, but thats partly why i do it, because of the thrills i get from teh danger. I guess i'll have to think about it more to decide which side of this article i am on. One thing i KNOW. MX and SX should NEVER be banned. its by far (in my opinion) the best sport ever.

I agree with ya.

I screwed up this one double at rausch Creek. There's a sharp left (more than 90 degrees) and about 20 ft later you have a double. Well I smashed the face of the next jump hard but nothin I couldn't shake off after a bit. Maybe this year I'll give it another go.

I just read the title of the article and skimmed it fast and I think it's completely ridiculous to think that motocross or supercross would be banned, but you never know with the way things are moving. I'll read it thoroughly when I have time. Thanks for the heads up on that article.

the title is just to catch your eye, there is nothing going to ban mx. the article just states that there should be regulations on how dangerous sx tracks can be. this guy wants to make everything a table top pretty much.

yeah, at the end of the article he says, "You don't have to agree with my title, but it got you to read this." Just an eye catcher like Chad said.
