I heard so much crap about all those satelite radios...I'de rather get my free radio than pay so much amonth for those...I think its kinda pointless....plus i get news and everything, local games and scores ya know the works...

Well I drive to work when the morning shows are coming on so all I hear is a bunch of jackasses talking about stupid shit. Not to mention I am in NH and I don't get more than 7 stations. I hate buying CD's and downloading MP3's just gets old.

RIght now I am listening to Jimi Hendrixs and I have the Sports ticker going across that I can set to show only the teams I want. I also can put a stock ticker to go across.

I can listen to tons of sports without commercials. Not to mention I got Opie and Anthony. It's only $12 a month which is well worth not having to buy CD's or deal with the radio. I can record up to 5 hours of music on the unit and take it with me to the gym. Also I can login online and listen. So I will be listening at work, home, in the car and at the gym.

So it's worth it to me.

yeah sounds cool to me, at my home town in NH, i think we had 3 radio stations that came in, so i had to buy an assload of cd's.

Yeah I have hundreds of CD's because I used to DJ back in college. Mostly raves and house parties. So I have tons of CD's but it is such a pain to deal with it all.

Just recorded 5 hours of music last night on the XM. Now I have something to listen to at the gym

Well I don't really listen to music that is rave-able or dance-able. all i really listen to is heavy metal, rock and that good stuff. But since i've been "down here", I've been getting into country a lot...

Hey nothing wrong with country. I actually like listening to cds and things but like you said...it gets old. I rarely buy cd's anymore...if a new cd comes out and I want it I'll just download it off Ares. Thank god for DSL...I just get allt he songs I want to download at onace and then leave...come back in an hour and like all 10 or 12 of them are done...its sweet.

Sometimes the radio does get old...especially in my tractor where I can only get about 7 stations....and when ur sitting in it all day you start hearing the same songs over and over and eventually you go insane...its a good time

I dont use cds or the radio anymore i got a creative mp3 player that holds 60 gbs of songs and i have 3,400 songs on it now and its not even 1/4 full plus I can plug it into my car and i have a little boombox type thing with a USB cable and LCD display so i can plug it into that.
