Default Burried my tractor

Well I was otu doing field work yesterday...and in theback 40 there is a little 1 acre spot that was never tiled, and its all grass. I didn't know it was wet...

I was in 2 wheel drive and the back right tire started spinning instantly, and when I hit the button for 4 wheel drive, she just sunk and i saw open water, I'm gonna get a picture of the ruts too when I get out there agian, they are amazing. The tractor's fornt tires were sitting on the axle, so the mud was to about the middle of the tire on the outside, little below it. THe back tires were sunk in just up to the rim. Took my neighbors 4050 4WD john deere and our 4020 john deere 2wd to pull it out....if it weren't so damn cold I'de get a pic of the ruts right now they are amazing.

But anyways...I was thinking because of all the black mud on the rims, that thing would look tight with black rims woudln't it? just spray paint then I bet that would kick nuts.

My friend suggested spinners but those would be huge....

Yikes must have been a pain pulling that out. Try to get pics of the rutts that would be tight. One time we tried to pull a guy out in a jeep that was buried to the frame in mud with our truck. It pulled the back bumper right off LOL. He ended up having to get a tow truck. I didnt know tractors had four wheel drive. Someone should soupe one up. That would be pretty cool.

Yeah they are pretty good for messin around when ts just the tractor and you've got speed...but liek i had a chisel ripper onand once them sob's touch the ground ur screwed...thats the only reason I get stuck...

Or one time when I managed to burry th etractor and JD disc i was pulling behind it...man my dad loved thatone...right in the muck she sank. I don't remember how we got that one out...

Soup them up? Ever see a tractor pull? haha modified fuel pumps, turbo's are screwed with, big ol chrome stacks, clutchs, all that stuff. Man themthings smoke black...
But mines only for farm...and my dad won't let me pain the rims black...

Tractor pulls are real good entertainment. You almost always get to see people break stuff cause they got so much power. Nothin can compare. Truck pulls are pretty sweet too.

yeah they are fun to watch. I help my friend's grandpa with his old H he has...its all pimped out and stuff its funny...runs race fuel in it.
I also help out with some other pull teams...never seen some ppl get so excited about pulling some weight around before, it gets very interesting.
Ours is only rated at like 150 HP at the PTO, but its more than that we had an overhaul on it. Our JD 4020 had one too a few years ago, the crank alone was like $700, then last year the electrical system caught fire...so that thing is practically brand new...new seat too! haha...I can't even begin to think what the torque numbers are for those though...its amazing how much balls they have...what the truck makes look like a hard job with a 350 the tractors make it look like a damn walk in the park...its amazing
