Fuck you man, I said I would post the slip. I don't think you relize how much power intake and full race exhaust will give you on a rotary, its like putting a cam in a car with pistions, then intake and exhaust and I have different aux port sleves. Besides alot of a 1/4 mile time is in the 60ft time. I don't think 16.6 is even close thats a shit load of time for me to make up with just the basics. erik you talk alot of shit about ricey stuff but then you go saying how your dads lowered explorer with "ricey" brembo brakes and im guessing some rims is so cool. I give domestic cars no credit at all when i read the HP of a mustang GT. Its an 8 cylinder and its only putting out 250ish HP thats damn sad. At least back in the day they put out some power not that they were too reliable but at least they were putting out sensible power. If someone gave me a corvette c06 that had over 50,000 wasted on it for a fiberglass or plastic body whatever it is and some fancy interior and a big motor id sell it and buy another supra or a newer style turbo rx-7 for 20,000 and put the other 30,000$ into the motor and the thing would be untouchable putting out at least 700hp if you did it somewhat right. I dont doubt that his car got in the 14s its all in how you drive it and hes right intakes and exhausts make some serious differences. I love rx7s just the way they sound especially a really modified newer one with a lightened flywheel and a good exhaust they rev just like a 2-stroke.

is it true that those rotatary engines rev to like 16 000 rpm...its would make sense cause they dont dont change direction like a piston...and yes you could easily make 700hp with 30k....

Alright erik... enough. Back on topic.... Rotary engines kick ass and Mazda does make a hell of a good sports car. We shouldn't be talking about what it can or can't beat... because unless the two vehicles are lined up... none of this talk matters beyond basic common sense.

yea ur right mainexport, i got a little off topic, i just flipout about those kids who are brainwashed on a certain brand and cant get off it... yea rx7's are awesoem cars, the newer ones at least, i dont liek that boxy early 90's style,, i rode in my friends 94 or so, that really cool rounded lookin one, it was a turbo and the thing was fuckin fast as hell and cortnered like a mother fucker.... but thats a whole different car then the one George is talkin about with 160hp...

Yes... the last generation FD RX-7 is the one you're talking about... and it is just sexy as hell. They are very fast stock and have a load of build potential. The lines are nicely rounded... they look like a little miniature Viper or something.

If it's Japanese, Rear wheel drive, and turbo'd I'm a big fan. The Silvia (or swapped 240sx), RX-7, Supra, and Z series Nissans kick ass like true sports cars should. Not just fast in a straight line... but they all have nearly perfect weight distribution and above a .9 skid pad (if not stock... very easy to do in the aftermarket). I think Maxda is very cool for trying the rotary and sticking with it to this day. It's a killer concept and they've got a lot of life long fans because of it.

yea that new generation rx7 is just plain sexy.... ur right about he mini viper... so true,, they are so sick lookin, id love to have one of them in black with some nice 5 spokes, thatd be nice, but my 98 f150 is treatin me dam good had her for 2 years now, bought it with 50k miles, hasnt had ONE problem yet(knock on wood) a set of tires.and new brake pads.... thats all... ive had close to probaly 2500 worth of wood in the back of that bitch so many times, and that 4.2 v6 pulls fine, its hilarious, saggin down to the ground like a mexican low rider, that bitch never stops tho, great truck, that and i dont have any money to geta new one, hahahah ;(

Yea you like teh same stuff i do. You cant forget to throw in the 300 or 400hp AWD evos, Subaru WRXs and the god of all imports the Skyline r34 VSPEC.
