 holy year old post. anyways. im near eugene. anyone from here like to ride shotgun creek. its like 10 minutes from my house and i ride there almost every weekend. can easily put on 50miles there in one day. anytime is good for me. i havent gotten to the dunes yet with my lt but will soon. trail riding is where its at for me. anyways just thought id post. danny

| hey all im here in s.e. portland myself. i ride at sandlake and florence knew about winchester but didnt know about coos bay ! whats it like ? is it closer than florence ? large /small ?

| shotgun creek is public (blm) land. i think its something like 6300 acres with lots and lots of riding trails. everything from easy cruisin trails to very steep hill climbs. i love it up there. go to the blm website and check it out. anytime anyone wants to check it out hit me up. i know alot of trails that are unmarked and barely used. the blm puts out a trail map for it but it doesnt have nearly all the trails on there. id say only half. danny

| memorial day weekend.....went to florence with my son and brother in law....he has 2 400 hondas and 2 rails.....had a blast......went to sand lake the weekend before.....DAMN I love this shit !!!!!!! |

 sup im new i live in brownsville its half way between albany and eugene i got a 86 TRX250R and love the dunes i like coos bay and winchester i am like 15 minutes away from shot gun never riden quads there didn't look like there was any good trails i lerned to ride dirt bikes in the gavle pit they shut down and the mud pit there is a nice trail system in oak ridge call hukle bery flats nice from easy to hard with alot of cool hills any ways enough rambling

| nice! im 15 mins on the other side of shot gun. there are great trails there for quads up there. if you wanna go riding tomorrow me and a few other guys are going around 11 am tomorrow. if your interested theres a little road you can meet us on but you have to be there by 11 am. just go over the hill on brush creek/marcola rd. and around mile 18 ish youll see howard rd on the right. the next road on the right past howard is a random logging rd. called hump rd. by the locals anyways. this is where you could park and unload and meet us. ill check here in the morn and see if your down. then maybe we could talk on the phone for better directions. i think if all goes well with the machines we will probly be out for about three hours. or so. post here or pm me and we will hook up. peace
