Riding Spots South of Los Angeles?

My usual trail riding spots are mountains and deserts..
Temps in the valley have dropped to the 40's which is way too cold for us Cali heads.
Already feel a bash coming on lol.. so Midwest & East keep it shhhh!!! I know 40 is nothing to yall!
So I'm wondering if there's anywhere south where I can take the kid out and toss the Blaster around?

And I thought about that, there's hardly an civilization there.. Where do people find jobs out there?

good riding in lucerne valley, barstow, elmirage, and theres the new MX track in Riverside. Its huge they got quite a few different tracks from what i here.

Word of mouth from one of the local shops is the owner shut down the track due to some fights last year??
I'm sure you'd agree if I mentioned who the trouble makers were!
